How to Stay Slim After Losing Weight

The fact is that many people fail to maintain their weight after their desired weight loss is achieved. These golden rules can help you get the answer to the question of how to stay slim after losing weight.

1. Determine daily calorie needs and apply that rule.
2. Determine the source of calories, their type and mutual relationship.
3. Do not starve, eat diverse food, moderately and in due time.
4. Do not give in to challenges and control weight regularly.
5. Get enough fresh water.
6. Sleep well and long enough.
7. Engage yourself in physical exercises.
8. Develop a positive view on live.

Why is each of these rules important?

1. During the day, we should take as many calories as we need to satisfy our basal metabolic rate (BMR) and the additional daily activities. So, we need to know our TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure). If the amount of calories on certain days is reduced and then increased, it forces the metabolism to be constantly vigilant and active.

2. It is very important what we eat, not just how much we eat. Only healthy food can provide a slim line and good health. Industrially processed food should be replaced with natural food. All that we need, we should eat fresh and raw. We should consume 1-2 tablespoons of dietary fiber a day with yogurt, or with something else we wish. The food we intake should be composed of 20% protein, 55% carbohydrates, l5% fat, 7% fiber, 1% and 2% salt drinks.

3. Each time we intake food in uncommon time, our body weight increases and the possibility to gain fat is accelerated even to double. Moderation in consuming food provides easier digestion. Starvation increases the desire for food and encourages the body to convert excess calories to fat making it a reservoir of energy for the next period of starvation.

4. Additionally, consuming variety of snacks with a glass of beverage creates excessive calories that are easy to pile up and difficult to remove. Burning 100 grams of chocolate needs a good run of at least one hour. If you occasionally eat something unplanned, you must necessarily have it in your mind next time you calculate the intake of calories.

5. Water is the environment in which all life processes in our bodies take place. The lack of this vital element adversely affects all processes in the body and especially of the metabolism. When we eat liquid food we feel full for a longer period of time and have better digestion as well.

6. Lack of sleep slows down our metabolism. In this case, the calories cannot be consumed but be converted to fat. Poor sleep causes bad mood and anxiety. People are prone to try to cure bad moods with uncontrollable food intake, but this way, they may only gain weight quickly.

7. Active muscles use calories as fuel for their proper functioning. The body and the skin become toned, which contributes to a healthy and youthful look.

8. Good humor, faith and motivation boost confidence and raise life energy. All of them together serve to live healthier and maintain a slender line more easily.

Why is it important to apply this set of golden rules?

If you do not want your great efforts to become futile, you must continue to take care of your body even after the weight loss. The best way is to apply these golden rules carefully and systematically.
